Farmers passed quickly through their fields to gather the harvest, but in going so quickly, theyd miss as much as 25% of the grain. It begins in the time of the Judges, and ends with a genealogy that runs on to King David, thus justifying the books canonical position between Judges and 1 Samuel. We would do well to try to move forward with womens rights instead of backwardespecially if you believe God has something to do with the creation of the Bible. Will we go to the uncomfortable places in life, to visit and help those who are less fortunate than us? Even the difficulties that He allows you to go through will be turned around for blessing, in His way and in His time. She had already embraced the faith of Naomi in the Jehovah as her God. These are the stories of women who have overcome what seemed to be insurmountable obstacles. She blames God. The Heart of a Mom is Persistent. What do we do when things go bad? Amen! - No, I believe what she does, is what many mothers do. WHEN LIFE FALLS APART Relative truth is everyone doing whatever they think is right. God wants to work in and through our lives as we place our faith in him, trusting him for the outcome. The famine in Israel was most likely due to Gods judgement on Israel for abandoning Him and worshipping idols. Widows were taken advantage of or ignored. And finally, are we willing to give up our life for the Lord, should He call us to do so? Not only does Ruth show a deep devotion to her mother-in-law Naomi, she shows a deep devotion to the people of God and to God Himself. Somebody never took a three-year-old shopping.
